Why every Litecoin to naira rate is different
The prices of 1 LTC, as seen within minutes of each other.
- Busha, price to buy 1 LTC₦99,323
- Quidax, best bid to sell 1 LTC₦96,568
- Busha, price to sell 1 LTC₦94,327
- CoinGecko reference₦93,669
Prices start at 90,000 Naira. Small gaps in the prices are shown. Public quotes from Quidax and Busha, 25 September 2026, 10:23 to 10:27 (UTC).
There are two main factors that affect the price of Litecoin. The first is the US dollar. Most converter sites will show the equivalent of Litecoin in US dollars. They will then use a naira/dollar rate to get the equivalent in naira. However, some cryptocurrency exchanges will buy and sell Litecoin using their own naira/USD rates. On that particular day, the rate of Litecoin/USD at Quidax was 70.41 dollars. However, its USDT sold for 1369.55 Naira. CoinGecko used a naira rate of 1326 Naira to convert Litecoin. Therefore, the difference in the rates is about 3%.
The second is the spread. On Quidax you trade on an order book: buyers bid, sellers ask, and the best bid and ask were only ₦388 apart. Busha quotes you one price to buy and one to sell, about 5% apart, and its help centre lists no separate trading fee. So a converter tells you roughly what your Litecoin is worth. Only the exchange quote tells you what you will get.
How to convert Litecoin to naira cash
Funds are transferred from a casino or wallet to your bank in 5 steps.
- Open and verify an exchange account
Exchange listed by the SEC. Neither Quidax nor Busha allows an unverified user to make a withdrawal.
- Copy your Litecoin deposit address
Litecoin can be transacted on the Litecoin blockchain. Transacting LTC using other blockchains results in a lost transaction.
- Withdraw from the casino to that address
Check the casino's minimum and fee first. Thrill charges 0.000138 LTC, about ₦13; BC.Game will not send less than 0.102 LTC.
- Sell the Litecoin for naira
On Quidax, a market order pays the 0.1% taker fee; Instant Swap charges no fee and shows the value up front. On Busha, "Sell" gives you the naira at its quoted rate.
- Withdraw the naira to your bank
Quidax charges a service fee of ₦200, and ₦50 stamp duty on ₦10,000 and above. Quidax takes 30 minutes to an hour to process your withdrawal request.
If you want to skip the conversion, some casinos pay naira straight to your bank. They are the Lagos-licensed books, such as 1xBet, whose naira withdrawals start at ₦550. Our guide to withdrawing casino winnings to a Nigerian bank compares both routes, and the fast withdrawal crypto casinos page times them.
Where to sell Litecoin for naira: the SEC-listed exchanges
The Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Fast Track Program names two digital assets exchanges.
Litecoin to Naira swap is their primary service offering. We compare them below for a Cashaout.
| Detail | Quidax | Busha |
|---|---|---|
| SEC listing | ARIP, digital assets exchange | ARIP, digital assets exchange |
| How you sell | Order book or Instant Swap | Quoted buy and sell price |
| Trading fee | 0.1% maker and taker; Instant Swap free | No separate fee in its help centre; the gap sits in the quote |
| Sell 1 LTC, 25 Sep | ₦96,568 best bid | ₦94,327 |
| Smallest Litecoin amount | 0.001 LTC withdrawal | 0.003 LTC sale |
| Fee to send Litecoin out | 0.002 LTC, about ₦187 | 0.000025 LTC, about ₦2 |
| Naira to your bank | ₦200, plus ₦50 from ₦10,000 | Shown on the summary screen |
For selling, Quidax paid more on the day. Busha is cheaper if you move Litecoin back out, for example to fund a casino. Buying works the other way round, and our guide to buying Litecoin with naira covers it.
Litecoin to naira inside a casino account
Certain casinos will display balances in Naira.
- BC.Game will display balances in Naira, but you will be transacting in and out in Litecoin.
- Thrill will display balances in Dollars. Use the converter on the page to get the equivalent in Naira.
- A naira rate that is out of date. Bets.io sizes bonus caps and bet limits from a rate table last updated on 18 February 2026, which lists NGN at 79 per USDT. The market rate is about 17 times that.
One rule holds everywhere: a casino pays out the Litecoin you have, and the naira value is set when you sell. If Litecoin falls 5% between your withdrawal and your sale, you get 5% fewer naira. Our Litecoin casinos page lists each casino's minimums and fees in naira.
Cashing out 0.5 LTC to naira: what reaches your bank
A worked example, using the 25 September quotes.
The same 0.5 LTC sold on Busha at ₦94,327 comes to ₦47,150, before any withdrawal fee on its summary screen. The converter said ₦46,834. A small order like this fills at or near the best bid; a big one may not, because it eats through several bids.
Bids and offers are public, that's how we arrived at our figures. Your figures may vary depending on when the sale is made.
Selling Litecoin for naira safely and legally
Crypto is legal in Nigeria. The risk is in the counterparty.
What the law says
The Investments and Securities Act 2025 treats digital assets as securities under the SEC. Since the Central Bank's guidelines of December 2023, banks may serve licensed crypto firms, so a naira withdrawal from Quidax or Busha lands like any other transfer.
Stay away from informal P2P
Binance ended naira P2P trading in March 2024, and Quidax shut its P2P market on 23 January 2026. Selling to strangers on chat groups or unlisted apps leaves you with no one to complain to if the naira never arrives.
There is a 5% withholding tax on winnings by residents. Lagos state began enforcing this in February 2026 on licensed casino operators. See our articles on this and Crypto gambling in Nigeria for more info.
