Cloudbet in two minutes
Cloudbet is a crypto casino and a sportsbook that's been around for a while, with quick cash outs and little aimed at Nigeria.
Cloudbet has over 3000 games and began as a sportsbook. They are one of the first in the industry and have since expanded their offerings. Each game is played using cryptocurrency. Cloudbet states that Litecoin has small transaction fees and charges.
The trade-off is the licence and the currency. Cloudbet runs under Curaçao, and no Nigerian state has licensed it. It has no naira wallet, no bank transfer and no local mobile money, so you arrive with crypto or buy some with a card. If you already hold Litecoin, that barely matters. If you start from naira in a bank account, it adds a step.
What works
- 0.002 LTC minimum, about ₦180, both ways
- Litecoin withdrawal fee of 0.0000016 LTC, under ₦1
- Up to $3,109.43 a day out with no verification
- Welcome rewards paid as cash, with no rollover
- Deposit limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion you set yourself
- Sign-up with e-mail or a social login, no phone number
What does not
- No Nigerian licence; Curaçao only
- No naira wallet, bank transfer or mobile money
- A BNB Smart Chain option that is easy to pick by mistake
- Terms reserve a handling charge of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals
- Bonus amounts quoted in dollars only
- Card purchases go through a third party with its own fees
Is Cloudbet legal? Its Curaçao licence and your options
Cloudbet's licence comes from Curaçao. Here is what that covers and what it leaves out.
What Cloudbet holds
The footer reads: "cloudbet.com is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. (Abraham Mendez Chumaceiro Boulevard 03, Willemstad, Curaçao), a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with Company Number 148526 and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under license number OGL/2024/328/0599." Card and some other payments run through a Cyprus subsidiary, Solas Technologies Limited.
Complaints follow a set path in section 19 of the terms. You write to support@cloudbet.com first. Once Cloudbet has given its final response, or a reasonable time has passed without one, you can take the case to CADRE, an independent dispute service whose decision binds both sides.
What it does not hold
No Nigerian licence. Cloudbet is not on the Lagos register, and it is not on the Lagos list of illegal operators either; Stake.com is. It is, however, one of 37 brands the LSLGA named as unlicensed in a public notice dated 31 December 2021, a page that also still names brands now on the register, such as 22bet and Betwinner. Nigeria is also absent from the restricted-country list in section 7.1.3, which names places such as the UK, the US, France, Spain and Australia. So Cloudbet accepts you, but a dispute goes to Curaçao and CADRE, never to a Lagos authority.
Cloudbet launches as a Bitcoin sportsbook and casino.
The year in the current Curaçao licence number, OGL/2024/328/0599.
Site loads in Lagos; Nigeria not on the restricted list; Cloudbet on neither the Lagos register nor the illegal-operator list.
What this means for you: Cloudbet operates in a legal gray area. It has no license in Nigeria, and Lagos has not banned it. We discuss the difference in our guides on Crypto Gambling Laws and Licensing in Nigeria and How to Check a Lagos License. If you want a locally-licensed operator, 1xBet’s site accepts Litecoin and has a license.
How fast Cloudbet pays out, and how much without KYC
Cloudbet prints its own speed figures, and a daily limit you can reach before anyone asks for ID.
The withdrawal panel says it in one line: "Withdraw up to $3109.43 per day, instantly. No verification needed. Want to withdraw more? Verify your account." That limit covers most players. Above it, you verify, and section 7 of the terms lets Cloudbet ask for a passport or driver's licence at any time, so keep one ready if you play big. Our fast withdrawal crypto casinos page compares this with the payout times of eight other casinos.
Cloudbet’s home page states that it has made 1,032,784 withdrawals, and in the past 24 hours, it has paid out 1,344,635.90 USD. These are claims by Cloudbet, and you can review fees, which are public.
Behind the speed, two things: There’s a limitation in Section 7.1.10.1 that allows Cloudbet to charge a handling fee of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals. The fee page shows nothing close to that for Litecoin today. Also, in Section 7.5.6, Cloudbet states that users are liable to pay any taxes on their winnings. For information on what taxes on Litecoin winnings mean for users, read our comprehensive article on the topic.
Cloudbet and Litecoin: two networks, one to pick
The Litecoin cashier is undoubtedly the best part of Cloudbet, and it also has the one trap on the page.
- Buy Litecoin in naira
Use an exchange registered with the SEC and pay by bank transfer. Our guide on buying Litecoin with naira lists the registered ones.
- Add funds, then Transfer crypto, then LTC
The Network section allows users to select Litecoin or BNB Smart Chain. Select Litecoin if you want to withdraw Litecoin from a centralized exchange.
- Send at least 0.002 LTC
The approximate cost is 180 Naira. Cloudbet does not charge a deposit fee.
- Withdraw from 0.002 LTC
Use the Litecoin network for the withdrawal as well, and you’re good to go.
When sending Litecoin, it is always best to use the Litecoin network. However, BNB Smart Chain is home to a Litecoin BEP20 token. Sending Litecoin on the BNB Smart Chain will result in the Litecoin being lost and only customer support can help get the Litecoin back. To always be safe, make sure to use the same network for all transactions.
| Network | Minimum | Deposit fee | Withdrawal fee | Fee in naira |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Litecoin | 0.002 LTC | 0 | 0.0000016 LTC | about ₦0.14 |
| BNB Smart Chain | 0.002 LTC | 0 | 0.0000603 LTC | about ₦5.44 |
According to our calculations, BC.Game asks for at least 0.102 LTC before a withdrawal which is about ₦9,200. At Cloudbet, you can make a withdrawal at a fiftieth of that. You can see the worth of withdrawals using our Litecoin to Naira conversion tool.
Getting naira into Cloudbet: cards and exchanges
Cloudbet does not have a naira door. Users can pick from three choices to deposit, of which one is through a card. The other two start from crypto.
| Route | What Cloudbet says | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Transfer crypto | "Instant", Litecoin among 30+ coins | No Cloudbet fee |
| Deposit with card | Crypto bought through Swapped, USDT by default | "Fees from 0.50" |
| Connect wallet or exchange | "~2 minutes" | Your wallet's network fee |
The card route is the only one that starts from money in a bank. It works like a small exchange inside the cashier: Swapped charges your card and credits Cloudbet in crypto. Banks cap international spending on naira cards, so a card purchase can be declined. Buying Litecoin on a local exchange and sending it is usually cheaper and more reliable. Roobet, by contrast, takes a naira bank transfer directly, for a 1% fee.
Withdrawals come back as crypto only. There is no route from Cloudbet to a naira bank account; you withdraw Litecoin to an exchange and sell it there. If you want naira in and naira out on the same site, 1xBet and Melbet offer that on their Lagos-licensed sites.
The Cloudbet welcome package: $2,500 in cash rewards
Cloudbet has a cash back offer. Users are rewarded a cash back offer for every bet they place for a period of 30 days. After 30 days, the cash back offer is stored in a vault. Users are not required to meet any wagering requirements to get the cash back offer.
Your first deposit activates the bonus. For 30 days after that, you get 10% of the house edge back on casino bets. You can earn this back multiple times and get it daily on a rewards calendar. There is also a number of cash drops. After 30 days, or when the $2,500 limit is reached, you get a cash vault in addition to the $2,500.
- 96% RTP slot ₦400 per ₦100,000
- 97.3% European roulette ₦270 per ₦100,000
- 99% Cloudbet Original ₦100 per ₦100,000
The bars represent how much house edge you get back. To reach the $2,500 limit, you would have to wager millions of naira. Because there is no rollover, you can withdraw the money immediately.
After 30 days, you can get up to 25% house edge back with TURBO casino bets. There is level-up cash and a VIP cash ladder. There is also the Refer and Earn promotion. Additionally, there is the Pragmatic Play promotion, Drops and Wins. No-deposit cash offers are mentioned in the terms and conditions, but they require a $20 deposit and 1x playthrough to withdraw. The crypto casino bonuses page puts this package next to match offers.
Cloudbet games: Originals, slots and live tables
You can play over 3,000 online casino games, 25 of which are developed by Cloudbet.
Cloudbet's house games are available under the Cloudbet Originals tab. These games are played against the house, and have an expected return of 99%. These games are quite simple and do not require much explanation. Please see our crash game guide to learn more about limbo and other similar games.
Once you have selected the game you wish to play, you can then use the filters to display games by type. The available types are slots, live dealer, crash and arcade games. The other game types include table games, game shows, roulette, baccarat, jackpot games and others.

Signing up at Cloudbet and when KYC starts
One screen, no phone required.
The Join button opens a single form. You can sign up with Google, Apple, X, Telegram or GitHub, or type an e-mail and a password. A promo code field is optional, and the line under the button confirms you are 18 or older and accept the terms. Nothing asks for a phone number.
You will not be required to verify your identity until you wish to make a withdrawal and your total withdrawals exceed $3,109.43 a day. You will be required to provide a government issued ID and the name on the ID must match the name on your Cloudbet account. Cloudbet does not allow multiple accounts per user and they have taken steps to prevent users from registering with an email address from an educational institution.
Users access Cloudbet's services through their web browsers. A mobile browser version of Cloudbet is shown in the following pictures. Accounts are suspended if there is no activity for 12 months, and customers can contact support to have their accounts reactivated.

Is Cloudbet safe? Security, fairness and support
Cloudbet has been operational for 13 years and provides users the ability to secure their accounts. Users can also request a dispute be mediated through a 3rd party service.
- Two factor authentication is available and users should enable it the day they create their account. In addition, users can self exclude for a period of time.
- Cloudbet provides users the ability to play games that are provably fair.
- Support: live chat around the clock in several languages, and support@cloudbet.com.
- In the event users are not satisfied with Cloudbet’s decision regarding a dispute, they can contact a 3rd party service, CADRE, for further assistance.
- Without local regulation, no Lagos authority can help with a Cloudbet dispute.
- Cloudbet is not liable if a user sends them a coin that Cloudbet does not support.
Cloudbet's age counts for something. It has run the same brand since 2013, which is longer than most crypto casinos have existed. The weak point is jurisdiction, not track record: everything above is enforced from Curaçao.

Verdict: who Cloudbet suits
Cloudbet is probably the best Litecoin cashier. Deposits and withdrawals are both 0.002 LTC. Withdrawals are essentially free. There is a daily withdrawal limit of $3000 that is free of paperwork. New customers receive free cash with no playthrough. Customers can set limits and take breaks on their own.
Cloudbet suffers from issues customers notice. Cloudbet is licensed in Curaçao, not Nigeria, so customers can't resolve disputes in Nigeria. There is no local currency, which means customers must use a 3rd party currency exchange, and both deposit and withdrawal process must go through that exchange. Cloudbet suffers compared to BC.Game and 1xBet, which both allow deposits and withdrawals in Litecoin and Nigerian Naira.
Customers who have Litecoin and want quick and cheap withdrawals.
Customers who want to deposit in Naira and hold their funds in Naira.

Cloudbet FAQ
Customers can not expect the welcome offer. The first deposit by a new customer triggers the welcome package. The terms and conditions state a cash bonus is possible without a deposit, however, customers can not withdrawal the cash and are required to make a deposit, worth at least $20, and play through that deposit before they can withdrawal the cash.

As of now, Cloudbet does not hold a license to operate in Nigeria, and it is not in the Lagos state government’s list of illegal betting companies, however, an LSLGA notice, dated December 2021, includes Cloudbet among other betting companies which do not have licenses to operate in Lagos state.
Yes. The minimum deposit is 0.002 LTC for both networks, i.e. Litecoin and BNB Smart Chain. It is advisable to use the Litecoin network if you are sending LTC and not BEP-20 tokens.
At Cloudbet, the fee for Litecoin is 0.0000016 and 0.0000603 for the BNB Smart Chain. Using the current rate of 90,239 naira per Litecoin, this equates to roughly 14 kobo and 5 naira. Cloudbet charges no fees for deposits.
