Fees charged by Quidax and Busha (at the time of writing) and converted to Naira based on the prices of the exchanges at 11:00 AM UTC on 25th September 2026. Quidax charges 0.5 to 5 USDT, depending on the network, and is equivalent to ₦685 to ₦6,847. Both exchanges said the fees are dependent on the level of congestion on the network.
On a ₦20,000 deposit, a 5 USDT fee eats a third of the money. The same deposit in Litecoin loses about ₦2 at Busha or ₦194 at Quidax. For small, frequent deposits, Litecoin wins by a wide margin.

USDT is fully-backed by the United States Dollars, and therefore, its price is equal to the dollar. Litecoin can lose or gain a significant portion of its value against US Dollars, and therefore, Naira, in a given day.

In total, a Naira to Cryptocurrency to Naira conversion should approximately cover the spread. At Busha, the spread for Litecoin is 5% and for USDT is 1% making USDT less expensive to purchase and sell. If USDT is sent to an address on a different blockchain, it will be irrecoverable.
- Choose the cheapest network both sides share

The ₦50,000 line is a rule of thumb from the fees above: below it, a 1 to 5 USDT fee is a noticeable share of the deposit. Above it, Litecoin's price swing can cost more than USDT's fee if the money stays put. Bitcoin sits between the two on price risk but costs the most to send, so it rarely makes sense for casino deposits of this size.

Litecoin or USDT: common questions
Moving Litecoin is cheaper than moving USDT. On 25 September 2026, Busha charged a fee of 0.000025 LTC, about ₦2, to send Litecoin, while the fee to send 5 USDT on the TRON blockchain was about ₦6,806. USDT is a stable coin and does not fluctuate as much. Compared to other Cryptocurrencies, it is a better option to keep on a casino balance for long periods of time. Litecoin is better to use if you want to make quick deposits.
For small transactions, Litecoin is the better option. Quidax charged about 0.0001 BTC (approx. ₦11,576) for a BTC transaction and 0.002 LTC (approx. ₦194) for a LTC transaction. Busha charged approx. ₦5,656 and ₦2 for a BTC and LTC transaction, respectively. BTC and LTC had price movement of 2.2% and 14%, respectively, on the day in question.
At Busha on 25 September 2026: Plasma 1 USDT, BEP-20 and Solana 2 USDT, TRC-20 5 USDT. The casino must show a deposit address on the same network, so check its list before you choose.
