One card per casino: the Tether rule that earns its place, the screen it comes from, and the catch.
Cloudbet: seven USDT networks, with every fee on one page
Cloudbet's fee page lists USDT on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Solana, Polygon, TRON and TON, each with a minimum withdrawal and a fee. Deposits are free. On 25 September a BNB Smart Chain payout cost 0.00388 USDT, about ₦5, from a 1 USDT minimum. TON and Polygon were just as cheap.
TRON was the outlier: a 5 USDT minimum and a 3.76 USDT fee, about ₦4,985. The fee follows the network and changes without notice, so check it on the withdrawal screen. Up to $3,109.43 a day goes out without ID. Cloudbet holds a Curaçao licence and is not licensed by any Nigerian state.

BitStarz gives USDT one card for deposits and one for withdrawals. Deposits minimum is set at 10 USDT (approximately ₦13,258) with no charges. Withdrawals minimum is at $50 and up to $50,000 with no charges. They process both, immediately. Term 8.7.1 sets a time frame of 1 hour for payment processing.

Your balance stays in naira and 1xBet converts crypto at its own rate, so a USDT deposit becomes naira at the table. That also means you can take a win out to Opay, PalmPay or a bank instead. How we ranked the USDT casinos
Five questions a Tether player asks, weighted by what each one costs.
The scores are for the USDT cashier only and should not be confused with the scores in the review. Every figure comes from a page the casino publishes.
- 30%Published minimums and fees. Are they printed, and how much do they cost in naira?
- 25%Networks. How many, and are the cheap ones there alongside TRC-20?
- 20%Payout rules. Written times, caps, and rules that hold a withdrawal.
- 15%Licence. A Lagos or reciprocity licence scores highest.
- 10%Naira route. Can a USDT win reach a Nigerian bank without an exchange?
We left out any operator on the Lagos illegal-operator list and any brand that names no licence. Our review method covers the rest.
TRC-20, BEP-20 or TON: which USDT network to use
The variation in cost to transact USDT is significant.
USDT on TRON (TRC-20) is the network most Nigerian wallets and exchanges default to. At casinos with a flat or network-priced fee, it is often not the cheapest way out. Here is the casino fee for one USDT withdrawal, in naira, on 25 September 2026:
- Cloudbet, TRON₦4,985
- Thrill, Tron₦1,326
- Cloudbet, BNB Smart Chain₦5
- BitStarz, 1xBet, BetwinnerNo casino fee
On 25 September 2026, the TRON (TRX) withdrawal fee at Cloudbet was 970 times the fee for the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The withdrawal fee for the Solana (SOL) network was 0.582 USDT, and a user was required to withdrawal a minimum of 20 USDT. To put it simply, if your wallet and exchange both support BEP-20, Polygon or TON networks, then you should use one of those networks. Always use the same network for transacting on both ends.
Can I buy USDT with naira in Nigeria? Yes. The SEC licenses crypto exchanges, and Quidax and Busha were among the first to get provisional licences in 2024. Buy there, then send to the casino on a cheap network. Our guide on Litecoin or USDT for casino deposits compares the two coins.

How to deposit and withdraw USDT at a casino
There are 6 main steps to take to go from NGN to NGN via a cryptocurrency.
- Buy USDT on an SEC-licensed exchange
When paying at the casino, add a small amount over the minimum to cover the network fee.
- Pick the network before you copy anything
Pick the same network in the casino cashier and in your exchange. BEP-20, Polygon and TON have the cheapest network fees, check the casino's fees.
- Copy the casino address and send a small test
Always paste the code and check the first and last characters. A Tether deposit at Roobet takes 3 confirmations.
- Play the deposit through if the casino asks
Both Roobet and Betwinner require all deposits to be wagered in order to make a withdrawal.
- Withdraw on a cheap network
Check the fee. On September 25th, BEP-20 cost about ₦5 and TRON about ₦4,985 at Cloudbet.
- Sell for naira at the exchange
Cash out your USDT to your exchange, sell it, and withdraw naira to your bank. You can withdraw naira to Opay and other mobile wallets at 1xBet.
Keep the transaction ID for each step. This is the first thing customer support will ask for when a deposit or withdrawal is questions. You can view the transaction on a block explorer. View our detailed guide on withdrawing from crypto casinos to Nigerian banks for more info.
Why play with USDT instead of naira or Litecoin
A dollar balance that stays a dollar balance, and where it costs you.
What USDT does well
- Holds its dollar value while you play
- Taken at every casino on this page
- Cheap to move on BEP-20, Polygon or TON
Where it costs you
- TRC-20 fees can be high at some casinos
- No bonus at the licensed .ng sites
- The naira value still moves with the exchange rate
Litecoin is the other fast, cheap option, and its price swings while you hold it. USDT does not swing against the dollar. If you plan to leave winnings at the casino for a while, USDT keeps their size. If you cash out within hours, either works; our Litecoin casinos page covers the LTC side, and fast withdrawal casinos covers speed.
Is P2P banned in Nigeria? Buying USDT safely
How naira is converted to USDT and the route we show our pointed readers.
The CBN lets banks serve crypto firms licensed by the SEC, reversing its 2021 restriction.
Binance discontinues the naira P2P market. Other naira on-ramps get moved to licensed cryptocurrency exchanges.
The first two provisional exchanges’ licenses are issued to Busha and Quidax.
The SEC issues a circular that establishes a minimum capital for Crypto firms and gives them an ultimatum of June 2027 to raise the capital.
The crypto firms and exchanges are now regulated by the SEC, through the ISA 2025. We direct our readers only to exchanges licensed by the SEC. This is because a licensed crypto firm/exchange has a regulatory authority it can reach out to, and an unlicensed Crypto firm/exchange will not be of help to you. We have another article on how to buy cryptocurrencies with the Nigerian Naira.
Are USDT casinos legal in Nigeria?
A summary of all the licences is available here.
Licensed in Nigeria
1xbet.ng is on the Lagos register as 1XBET.NG, run by Beaufortbet Nigeria Limited. Betwinner.ng holds Universal Reciprocity Gaming Permit SBOC/BW08JN22/0020/V1 and is on the Lagos register.
Licensed abroad
Cloudbet, BitStarz and Roobet hold Curaçao licences. Thrill and Bets.io hold Anjouan licences. None of them is licensed by any Nigerian state, and none is on the Lagos illegal-operator list. A Nigerian regulator cannot take up a complaint against them.
Holding USDT is legal; crypto is regulated by the SEC. Gambling with it is a separate question, answered by the casino's licence. Winnings are taxed too: Nigeria's withholding tax rules set 5% on gaming winnings of residents, and Lagos has enforced it on licensed operators since February 2026. Whether a casino takes it off your payout depends on its own terms, and each review says what those terms state. See our guides on whether crypto gambling is legal in Nigeria and tax on gambling winnings.
Dollar stakes, naira budget
A USDT balance hides how much naira you are spending.
Because the naira is valued so low, a USDT bet of $5 would be equivalent to a bet of ₦6,629. Therefore, betting in USDT can create a false sense of what a reasonable bet might be. Before you begin gambling, set a naira budget and don’t exceed it. Some online casinos allow you to set a deposit or bet limit. Others require that you contact customer support in order to set a limit.
If you feel that gambling is no longer enjoyable, please contact someone and take a break from gambling.
